We were thrilled with the dinosaur games we received from the Love Books Summer Book Exchange.
The book she sent us was The Littlest Dinosaur by Michael Foreman, which was new to us!
The box was FULL of goodies to carry out the dino theme. She gave us dinosaur crayons and coloring sheet, dinosaur stickers, dinosaur stamps and a huge, kid-friendly inkpad, dinosaur toys, and a dinosaur-themed pack of games Ashley created.
We used the coloring pages and the adorable dinosaur-shaped crayons. And then I got out a large sheet of paper and we played with the dinosaur stamps and stickers. It was a fun multi-media way to create!
Then we played with her mini pack of printable dinosaur games. We did matching dinosaurs and eggs, sorting dinosaurs by size, numbered dinosaur footprints, and a board game she created.
Check out all the book exchange ideas, which are linked to over at The Educators’ Spin On It. Lots of great ways to expand on favorite books!
