This play idea is brought to you by Knoala – Raise Happier Kids. Knoala is a free app that offers activities for parents to enjoy with infants to preschoolers. The words (and fun!) are mine.
Knoala is a free app designed to give parents easy activities to try. We decided to make sticker picture frames, and my toddler loved it! These craft stick frames make an easy project to set up, and are a great rainy day activity – or playdate project. You just need craft sticks, crayons, glue, tape, and magnets.
It’s a simple activity – color the craft sticks with crayons, glue them together to make a frame, and let your child decorate them with stickers. To make sure the glue adheres well, tape the ends of the craft sticks before giving them to your child to color. Then remove the tape, and glue the sticks together.
Once the frame is dry, let your little one add stickers to it! Once the masterpiece is done, you can glue magnets to the back to display the frame!

Once the glue has dried, get out the stickers and let your child decorate! You can add magnets to the back, to stick the masterpiece onto the fridge. My little guy loves showing off his frame. You can stick photos, or have your child choose favorite images from magazines to display.
There are so many ideas – thousands in fact! – so you always can find a simple and entertaining project to try out!
