Make minion blocks from pool noodles! This was such easy minion craft, and they are so fun for play. My preschooler loves creating a whole row of minions, just to come and knock them over…again and again!

An adult should use the steak knives to cut the pool noodles. I cut them into blocks of varying sizes, from about 3-6 inches). I tried to keep the edges as sharp as possible so the minions would stand. But, as you can see, even if the cuts are rough, they’ll still work!
Use a marker to draw one line for the goggles around the yellow pieces. Then use the glue gun to put glue on the back of the googly eyes and put them on the goggle line. I let my kids use the low temperature glue gun, with supervision (and ice water on hand!), but you know what works best for your kids. We put either 1, 2, or 3 eyes on each block. Then we traced around the eyes with the marker.
The marker actually stayed on ours if the block got wet. But the eyes will come off (or at least ours did), so I didn’t want to let them play with the blocks in the pool. They did play with the minion blocks on the steps — and lots out of the pool!
We store them in a mesh bag. And when the eyes fall off, I just glue them back on! My son is eyeing the purple pool noodle, so we are going to add some evil minions into the mix soon!
