Turkey crafts for kids are so fun and there are so many easy projects out there! Every year we make pinecone turkeys with decorative feathers glued on. This year we also added this leaf turkey craft.
- googly eyes
- brown, orange, and red construction paper
- black marker
- Glue and tape
- A handful of leaves (you could also cut them from paper)
Start off by collecting some leaves! We picked ours up on our walk home from school. Cut a small circle and a large circle from the brown construction paper. Cut a triangle from the orange paper for the beak, and a red oblong for the wattle. Optional: cut legs from the brown paper. We did this for some, not for others. Both were cute!
We glued the smaller circle (the turkey’s face) onto the larger circle (the turkey’s body), and then outlined it with black markers. Glue the eyes, beak, and wattle onto the face.
